Our holiday homes and bed and breakfast accommodation is near Toulouse airport - about 45 minutes drive, making Toulouse a convenient airport to choose for your holiday in the Tarn. Toulouse airport is officially called Toulouse-Blagnac - Blagnac being the area of Toulouse in which the airport is situated.

The following airlines fly to Toulouse airport from the UK:

Flying time is approximately 1hr 45mins between Toulouse airport and London Gatwick, but there is one hour's time difference. (This means that when you travel from England to France, you put your clocks forward and the journey seems to last 2hr 45mins. On the way back, travelling from France to the UK, you put your clocks back one hour, and the journey seems to take just 45 minutes.)

Once you have collected your baggage (usually not a long wait in our experience), you emerge into a large hall lined with various car hire companies. If you are driving, use the following instructions to reach Le Jardin du Curé, which is situated 45 minutes to the north of Toulouse, between Toulouse and Albi.

Travelling to our Gites from Toulouse Airport

On leaving Toulouse Airport you will find yourself on the motorway system that surrounds Toulouse. Follow the signs for Albi (the blue ones that indicate motorways) and you will eventually find yourself at a toll. (The fee is 1.20 euros and it takes credit cards). Stay on this road (A68) until you reach junction 6 signposted Graulhet.

Leave the Motorway here and head for Graulhet. Stay on this road for about 20 kms until you reach Graulhet. As you enter the town limits you will have Leclerc and Intermarche, two of the supermarkets on your left. (Should you need to do a food shop before you arrive at the gite, their opening hours are from 9.00.am until 7.00pm Monday to Saturday, without closing at lunchtime).

At the next roundabout take the second exit which is the bypass (signposted Castres and Realmont). Stay on the bypass, going straight on at the traffic lights. You will pass the fire station on your right. At the Roundabout follow the sign for Realmont (not Castres). After 2 kms you will arrive at some traffic lights where you will need to turn left into the small hamlet of La Ventenaye. Take the first turning on the right and about 40 metres on the Right there is a green gate. They are clearly marked with the name of our gites, Le Jardin du Curé. You have Arrived.
